Took the waitress 15 minutes to get our drink order. 30 minutes later, our appetizer (calamari) had not shown up. I asked what the holdup was and no one could seem to answer. I asked for the manager and 10 minutes later, still, NO MANAGER. We were the only ones in the entire restaurant that ordered sushi, as everyone else was either at the buffet or habachi grill. Sushi chef, waitress, and other person were very condescinding which is very ironic as I can pay all of their yearly salaries with one pen stroke in my checkbook. Needless to say, we left the restaurant after waiting a total of 50 minutes and receiving only 2 cokes. I will never go back to this establishment as they obviously didn't send their employees to a customer service class, and their food system is totally unacceptable... If you are on vacation in Blue Ridge, save yourself the frustration.... Spend your money elsewhere.

On 6/6/09 Suzy J. said... We had a group of 14 and they had to split us between two cooks, but still charged us the additional gratuity.(?) They got my order wrong, but did try to make up minimally, a few pieces of over cooked chicken for some over cooked shrimp.. The scallops were wonderful as was the fillet mignon I ordered. I knew I'd be able to get at least 3 meals out of this one so I wasn't so concerned about the high cost. At the end of our service a woman came around handing out boxes, no offer of bags for multiple boxes. When we were leaving there were alot of people in the lobby and someone knocked into my arm which was holding my multiple boxes.. I managed to hold onto one, but the other was spilled on the floor, the manager came up to me and was laughing and said stay here and keep others away, someone was coming to clean up.... I confronted the manager and asked if he thought it was funny that over $20 of my money was now on the floor and he continued to laugh, I told him I was not laughing and I was not happy and he just kept on laughing. They expected me to take home the box that had spilled on the floor....I will not be returning, and if you're smart neither will you, spent $76 for two people and ate hardly anything, and they are the ones laughing all the way to the bank...6/6/09

On 6/17/09 Miss Georgia said... I find the restaurant very good and have no complaints. The complaints I'm reading here are petty and picky. I would assume these people don't live in the North Georgia Mountains and except big city service. It isn't going to happen. I love the buffet because of the shrimp and catfish. The choices are many. My husband loves the grill. The restaurant is packed all the time so there is something good to say.

On 6/27/09 Jeffie said... I have been to this restaurant twice. I found the service to be impeccable and the food was great. I was there with a group of 35 the first time and group of 14 the second time and the service was great. The gentleman who can pay their annual salaries with a stroke of his pen should just stay home and have his personal chef serve him raw food.

On 6/30/09 GA Peach said... The food was very good and there is something for everyone at A Tin Loong's. The choices are many. The service was excellent. The restaurant very clean. The food extremely fresh and well prepared. The first two reviews are nit-picking. It isn't the restaurants fault that someone dropped their doggie-bag...geez, and we don't need snobby people with too much money and too little manners in the mountains running down our restaurants. Tin Loong's serves wine and beer, and it has a bar w/TV for game time.

On 7/1/09 The J Family said... I do not know what the first two reviews were talking about!! I just now finished eating take-out from Tin Loong. It was FANTASTIC!! A family of four for fifty bucks, two combo dinners and a kids order. We ordered hibachi and we are looking forward to eating from there again!! ;-)

On 7/1/09 A Blue Ridge Resident said... Reginald Lindsey is a douche bag. Find somewhere else to vacation dip wad. We are proud to finally have somewhere decent to eat around here. Did you find any other appealing choices in the area????
